The international headquarters are based in the Belgian town of Ghent, where our long-term vision and strategy are developed. We manage 4 production facilities, in Issenheim (France), Kettering (UK), Landgraaf (Netherlands) and the largest and most modern in Wevelgem (Belgium).
In the last 5 years, we have seen rapid growth with our turnover more than doubling from € 100 million in 2000 to € 270 million today. Between 2001 and 2007 we have doubled not only the output, but also the number of people we employ, currently more than 800 people. This is why we call on efficient Human Resources Management to keep our operations and growth.

It is our firm belief that Alpro’s growth is attributed to our employees, who have grown and developed with the company. This belief forms the guidelines of our Human Resources Management. From the very first day, we put a lot of emphasis on integrating new employees for whom an introduction programme has been developed.

Internal mobility
The evolution of an employee’s career is an important aspect for Human Resources. By encouraging employees to take part in training programmes, we can help them to steer their careers themselves making different career steps possible: Broadening of a role, a change of role, active participation in cross-functional projects or promotion within the business. We don’t work to fixed career paths, thinking instead in terms of nurturing within a dynamic company.
