The strategy of the Alpro company is based on 6 pillars.

  • The first pillar of the strategy is the brands. Alpro has 2 main brands, Alpro and Provamel®, which take a different approach. Alpro® soya products focuse more on the healthy balanced lifestyle and can be found in the retail channel. Provamel® products are organic and can be found in health shops and organic supermarkets.
  • The sustainable relationship with our customers is the second pillar of our investment strategy. Together with our customers, we want to build a healthy soy segment.
  • A third pillar of our strategy is Innovation and Research & Development. In order to be able to launch new products corresponding to the needs of the consumer and to develop new processes we invest heavily in R&D.
  • Investing in core technology and production assets (4th pillar) is necessary to achieve international growth and to keep our core know-how in house.
  • The fifth pillar, the development of our partner network, is a fundamental part of our expansion strategy. Working with partners in a win-win relationship enables us to achieve a healthy and profitable business for both parties.
  • Last but not least we have our human capital. Next to the brands, people are by far the most important asset of our company. Our work ethos is “freedom within the framework” respecting our company values Ambition, Leadership, Professionalism, Respect and Ownership.
